Bed Bugs are on the rise, just ask anyone. The market is flooded with self treatments, over treating and chopped treatment processes. Getting rid of Bed Bugs requires knowledge, skill, the right tools and the right chemicals. These elements are only found through PCO's like Home-Tite.
1. A bed bug canine inspection is HIGHLY recommended. A canine can detect a single live bed bug or egg behind drywall, locating over 96% of all bed bugs within a room and whole home or unit. A human being can only find up to 35% of all bed bugs within a room and whole home or unit, so it only makes sense for Bed Bug canine inspections for bed bug infestations.
2. A chemical only treatment consists of insecticide dust in cracks and crevices and a sprayable residual chemical which leaves behind a 6 month residual chemical killing live bed bugs and the eggs. The insecticide dust kills for up to a year or more. Three chemical treatments 10-12 days apart is required for a chemical only treatment.
3. A heat treatment consists of a perimeter chemical treatment to baseboards and door thresholds followed by a high heat room or whole home treatment which maintains a constant temperature of 122-130F for 6-8 hrs. Heat treatments kill ALL stages of bed bugs INCLUDING the eggs. Minimal room or whole home preparations from the home owner is required.
My Best Advice?
For the very best results in eradicating a Bed Bug infestation is a canine inspection followed by a chemical pre treatment and high heat treatment is HIGHLY recommended, but not always required. My detailed and targeted chemical treatments will kill off any clusters or infestations.
